VibeFest

Founded by Frequency VA in 2020, VibeFest is a collaborative initiative where like-minded professionals celebrate diversity, their true and authentic selves, and safely connect through good music, good people, and good vibes. Proudly returning to Elevation27 in Virginia Beach, VA for a 4th installment in 2024, this arts showcase and after-party continues to push the region’s culture forward toward a more equitable future and enhanced quality of life for all communities in the 757.

Limelight Live

Virginia locals in the 757 need a platform to connect creators to the community. Resuming soon, passionate creators will be interviewed and showcase original music or art every Monday night from 9pm - 10 pm EST on IG LIVE, with a virtual talent show to follow. To be selected, please apply and send us links to your most meaningful creations!

 

The EleVAtion Experience

We are now accepting applications to perform at the next Open Mic Showcase for locals in the 757 area. After cost, all proceeds are donated to the selected charity. Are you ready to make lasting connections and rock the mic?

Writer's Block

Writer’s Block is an in-studio weekend songwriting camp to encourage creativity, inspiration, collaboration, and community building curated by Frequency VA.

Songwriters will receive brief and intensive creative experiences over a weekend; 

  • 16 hours of studio time with Frequency VA Producers

  • Collaborative Songwriting Sessions

  • Workshops and Masterclasses

  • Feedback Sessions

  • Performance Opportunities

Vibe with some of the most passionate artists from Virginia's renaissance movement. This bi-monthly competition elevates the artist to new heights by building lasting connections with FrequencyVA members and the local creative community. The winner of the competition is selected by crowd applause and moves on to the finals at VibeFest where one artist will win a trip to SXSW!
