Born Matthew Wayne Wright in the state of South Carolina, raised up north in Allentown, PA where he found his love for hip hop, which became his love for the music of all genres. He is an emcee/songwriter AKA M. Writes. He has a story to tell that he knows the world would be interested in hearing. On the flip side of things, he also enjoys writing songs that share other people's story. Everybody's got one and no matter what it may be, there is always going to be someone out there who can relate!

He was inspired by hip hop artists such as the L.O.X., Biggie Smalls, Onyx and so many more. The realness and finesse of wordplay over fire beats make their stories and struggles relatable.
